We are a South Sami family whose daily life revolves around reindeer herding.

Our work with reindeer is based on traditions that go back many generations here in the Røros area. The traditions are old, but it has been natural to adapt, and adopt modern technology as it becomes available.

Our main home is in town, but much of our time is spent in the mountains with the reindeer, where we stay in cabins built for herders. In summertime we live at Gulhåen in the Kjøli-mountains.
